General rental conditions

OBJECT OF THE CONTRACT

The lessor makes the rented object available to the lessee for a specified period.


PERSONAL DATA

By making a reservation, the customer confirms the accuracy of the personal data provided.


OWNERSHIP OF THE EQUIPMENT

The rented equipment remains the property of the lessor.


PICK-UP DATE/TIME

The equipment cannot be picked up before the specified date/time.


LATE

The reserved equipment will be held for a maximum period of 2 hours after the fixed reservation time. The equipment for rent will then be made available again, without any right to compensation for the customer.


PAYMENT

There are possible forms of payment: 1) Online payment


RESERVATION PROCESS

1. An online reservation by the customer is possible. 2. The customer receives a reservation confirmation via email or WhatsApp.

CANCELLATION/RESCISSION CONDITIONS

The customer can cancel or modify their reservation free of charge up to 1 hour before the rental. After this time, the total rental cost is due.

EARLY RETURN OF THE RENTED OBJECT

In the event of returning the rented object before the scheduled date or time, no full or partial refund of the rental amount can be demanded.


RETURN OF THE RENTED OBJECT

The rented object must be returned to the lessor during the opening hours of the test centre.


LATE RETURN OF THE RENTED OBJECT

If the rented item is returned late compared to the agreed rental period, the additional duration will be charged to the renter in accordance with the rental price list. Any reminder fees will also be charged. The renter is also responsible for any damages caused to the lessor.


DUTY OF CARE / BARCODE

The renter must use the rented item with all necessary care. The renter is fully responsible for any damages caused to the rented item during the rental period. The barcode must not be removed under any circumstances. In case of a missing barcode, a fee of CHF 10.- per barcode will be charged.


BREAKAGE AND THEFT OF SKIS

No coverage fee for these risks is included in the rental price; in case of damage or theft, all costs will be the responsibility of the renter.


DISCLAIMER

The lessor assumes no responsibility for any material or personal damages caused during the rental period.


PROCEDURE IN CASE OF THEFT OR DAMAGE

In case of theft or damage caused by a third party to the rented item, the renter must immediately inform the lessor. In case of theft, a police report must be attached.


RIGHT OF USE

Only the renter is entitled to use the rented item. Subletting is prohibited.


CONDITION OF THE EQUIPMENT ON RETURN

The rented item must be returned in good condition. If the rented skis/accessories are returned dirty, the lessor may require a contribution towards cleaning costs.


APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION

The contract is subject to Swiss law. The legal jurisdiction is the place of rental. These general conditions apply to the reservation and payment of rented equipment made via the Internet.
